GUIDANCE OFFICER WEEK
It is Guidance Officer Week from 24 April to 5 May. Please meet our Guidance officer Kim Godson. Kim is at our school every second Wednesday (even weeks) and every Thursday. Kim currently works across our school and Kuraby Special School. Kim’s role is essentially one of a “helping professional.” She works with students, parents and staff to advocate and support students’ academic, social and emotional wellbeing needs and is often the liaison between external supports and our school.
Kim plays a very valuable role within our school and we thank her for all of the hard work, dedication and compassion she shows to our children and school community. Contact with Kim is organised through the school based inclusion team.
