House System
Runcorn State School operates a three house system for intra school sporting completion. The houses are names after Australian Flora:
- Grevillia – red
- Banksia - green
- Acacia - yellow
Children are allocated a house at enrolment with a view to keeping families in the same House whilst endeavouring to maintain gender and age group balance across the Houses.
School Sport Competition
Students at Runcorn State School participate in a number of inter-house sporting carnivals throughout the year.
