National Bandanna Day & Day for Daniel - Thursday 28th October

On Thursday the 28th of October, Runcorn State School is celebrating Bandanna Day by raising funds for Canteen, an organisation who supports children touched by cancer. The Student Council is selling bandannas for $5 outside the Tuckshop area every morning from Monday 25th October until Thursday 28th October.  Get in quick before they are sold out!

Also on Thursday the 28th of October, it is Day for Daniel where students can wear red to school to raise awareness about child safety. In class, students will be practising the skills to RECOGNISE, REACT, AND REPORT unsafe situations from a program created by Mr and Mrs Morecombe after the loss of their son Daniel. There is no gold coin collection for this day as it is a day of reflection and awareness.
